The Gentleman's Syndicate is a free mentorship program for young men ages 12–24. We work alongside families — not instead of them — to build character, resilience, and leadership.
Learn MoreThese are the things parents tell us every week. If you're nodding along, you're in the right place.
One-word answers. Closed doors. You know something's going on, but every time you try to reach him, he shuts down. That's not your failure — it's a stage where boys pull away from parents and look for other trusted voices.
Gaming, scrolling, headphones on for hours. It feels like he's choosing a screen over family. The truth is, he's looking for connection and identity — and right now, the screen is the easiest place to find it.
You know he's capable. You've seen it. But the motivation disappeared. Often what's underneath is a young man who can't connect school to the future he wants.
The outbursts, the short fuse, the attitude. Anger in young men is almost always something else wearing a mask — frustration, confusion, hurt. He hasn't learned how to name those feelings yet.
"He's not a bad kid — he just needs a broader team."
We don't ask you to trust us because we say nice things. Here's exactly how we protect your son.
Every mentor is screened through a national criminal database, sex offender registry, and county-level court records. No exceptions.
Before being matched: youth safety, mandatory reporting, trauma-informed communication, de-escalation, and boundary-setting. Ongoing, not one-time.
All sessions happen in approved, supervised spaces — community centers, libraries, and designated GS facilities. No private homes.
No mentor is ever alone with a young man without another trained adult present or in direct line of sight.
Before any one-on-one sessions begin, you and your son meet the mentor. If it doesn't feel right, we find someone else.
Any time, for any reason. No waiting period, no guilt. The relationship has to feel right for everyone involved.
Every program is free. Your son can participate in any or all of them.
A trained mentor matched to your son's interests and personality. They meet regularly, set goals together, and build a real relationship over time.
Structured conversations with other young men on emotional resilience, leadership, healthy masculinity, and conflict resolution.
Hands-on learning in financial literacy, public speaking, career exploration, and life skills that school doesn't always teach.
From your first call to ongoing mentorship — here's exactly how it works.

You and your son meet our leadership. A two-way conversation.
We match based on interests and personality. You meet the mentor first.
Low-key intro. Building trust, no pressure.
Regular progress reports and open communication. Always in the loop.
A tool you can feel good about. Purposeful screen time, not mindless scrolling.
A private, guided space for your son to reflect on his thoughts and feelings between sessions.
He sets goals with his mentor and tracks his own progress. Visible growth he can see.
See what topics were covered and how your son is engaging. Transparency built in.
Articles, videos, and exercises he can explore on his own time. Content that strengthens character.
We don't replace what you do at home. We add to it.
Regular updates, open communication, and full visibility into your son's mentorship. We have nothing to hide. You're welcome at any session, any time.
We learn about your family's values, goals, and concerns during intake. Everything we do with your son reinforces the foundation you've already built.
Every young man benefits from having more invested adults in his life. That's not a reflection of what's missing at home — it's an addition to what's already there.
This is not intervention. Not correction. Not a program for "problem kids." This is the same investment you'd make in sports, music, or academics — for the parts of life those don't cover.
Come to an info session. Meet our team. Ask every question you have. No commitment, no pressure — just a conversation about your son's future.
